I am a Mechanical Designer with more than 13 years of machine design and product development experience.  The majority of my work has been in the Portland, Oregon area, preparing and maintaining layout and production drawings.  I am looking for contract, part-time or permanent employment in the close-in Portland area.  Please see my resume or drawing collage for work samples.

GDT: I am competent in the use of the current ANSI Y14.5 standard (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), with two supplemental classes and a total of more than seven years using 'GDT'.

AUTOCAD: I have considerable experience with ACAD, including solid modeling and 3D wire-frame drawing techniques.  Additionally, I am competent in using and changing nearly all of the configurable options available in AutoCAD, and have written several dozen AutoLISP programs, some requested by previous employers.

CADAM: I have 14 months experience with IBM mainframe CADAM software.  I have an above average working knowledge of the more complex aspects of CADAM.

Computers: As my resume indicates, I have three years of Computer Science.  I am competent in most aspects of, DOS through Win 2000, the MS Office 2000 suite (in order; Word, Access, FrontPage and Excel).  My programming background includes JavaScript, Visual Basic, Pascal and a number of scripting macro languages.  In addition, a computer, with DXF compatible software is available for homework.

UNIX: My UNIX experience via TELNET covers nearly a decade using commands such as CHMOD and GREP.
